Before I was born, my creator carefully designed me down to every detail. To the right is a picture of him having my bottom plate water jet along with my steel bar blade.
Bio: Hello, my name is Tornado Mini and I recently competed in San Francisco and got to the 5th round of the National Battlebots Competition. This is a competition where robots fight each other and the last one standing wins. I'm designed to smack the crap out of the my opponent from any side, and while they may have saws or hammers that can only hit from one direction, I am a giant spinning shell of aluminum and steel, and I can attack from anywhere. Check out the pictures below to find out more about me.
During the competition, I had a bad motor that needed changing, but it was so late, that we had to leave the competition and my creator had to change it in the hotel lobby. I was out cold but later he told me that the manager wasn't too happy about the soldering at 12:30 AM.

This is me from the front. (I'm told this is my good side, but I think all my sides look awesome.)
I don't know if you can see from the pictures above, but the way I work is I have a central shaft that has two tapered roller bearings with shell that goes in between that help keep it balanced. This shaft doesn't spin, but rather the two motors, shown above, have wheels attached to them and they spin on the underside of the shell. This friction drive system acts like a clutch and allows me to hit my opponents as hard as I want without hurting myself at all.
